I hired BigGuyForHire at the recommendation of my handyman, Ben Widman of HoneyDoneList.com.  I filled out the form on their site on a Saturday, hoping for their Monday opening because it was going to be warm and dry and I needed things from my garage and a few things from inside the house moved to a storage unit I had recently rented.  We are going to have some construction done inside and I needed the room where a wall is going to be moved to be empty.  I wanted the garage free for the contactor to have to set up as his work space.  Since it is winter, and because I had sustained a knee injury last summer, I had not had a chance to clean out the garage.  It was cluttered and messy.  On top of that, I had a couple of cabinets that had been delivered – and their pallets – blocking access to a lot of the garage.  The indoor furniture had to be moved out, then the cabinets brought inside, and then the garage contents that were going to storage identified as we moved through the garage.  I needed a crew who would listen to me and not just grab and go.  I was not looking forward to this job!
I did get an automated response from the BigGuy website, saying they received my request for work, and that I would hear from someone soon.  When I had not heard by noon on Sunday, I emailed a reply to that response.  John called me soon after, apparently my original “request for work” form was not delivered and he had to go look for it.  He was able to fit me in on Monday.  I did have to call him again on Sunday afternoon due to a mix up on my part, not understanding that I must use U-Haul if I wanted their crew to drive the rental truck.  John was great and never sounded irritated at having to deal with business on his Sunday afternoon. 
Derek and Freeman called me right on time on Monday, letting me know they were on the way, and we met at the U-Haul dealer.  Once back at my house, they listened and asked questions about what was to be moved.  They were friendly and personable, while being professional and efficient.  They automatically wrapped the wooden furniture with plastic wrap to protect it and used the furniture pads and tie-downs as needed.  My worries about not having the garage prepared for them were unfounded.  Derek and Freeman were patient and nice, never making me feel pressured to explain things because they were waiting.  No, they worked with me like they were old friends.  Derek was concerned about how I would dispose of the wooden pallets the new cabinets had been delivered on, and while I called my waste company to see if I could put them at curbside, he was sweeping the garage floor clean!  Once at the storage unit, they organized things so well that I probably have room left to put some of the stuff that is cluttering up my patio.  A storage shed is next on the agenda this spring!...
