I was excited to work with this company after seeing all the positive reviews but was overall disappointed with my experience. The movers were over 2.5 hours late (although they were communicative during the whole delay). I had told John in advance that in addition to a trailer of furniture, I had items in my sublet across the street from my new apartment that needed to be moved as well. While the movers were courteous, efficient, and careful when they finally arrived, they finished moving the contents of the trailer (which my parents and I unloaded from the trailer during the delay) and immediately were trying to leave after 20 minutes of being there because they said they had to get to another job. Why did they have to rush to another job after showing up nearly three hours late to mine? I told them that I needed help moving things in the other apartment and they loaded one dolly's worth of belongings before leaving. I had to move a couple more carloads of belongings myself. While John did only make me pay for an hour of labor instead of two, I still only got around 30-40 minutes of help before they left to go to another job. I am hoping that my case was an exception and not reflective of how the company normally operates. EDIT: John reached out after reading my review and was very professional and apologetic.
