One VERY happy customer here! We cannot recommend these gentlemen highly enough! Looking for help, I reached out to several of those top rated moving help listings on Yelp. John from Big Guys responded within a few hours and even though I was calling ahead (lesson learned; month end moving, find your help several weeks in advance!) he tucked me into his last available time slot on one of the dates I had selected. He indicated what time would be the latest they would arrive, and that they could be earlier. He did a fine job of managing my expectations. They were able to come early, called to check if that was ok, then arrived at the time they communicated. We were fully aware ahead of time what, when, and at what cost to expect! Communication was right on point!! When Herb, Derrick, and John arrived, and didn't appear 'big' we all had a good chuckle. They were quick to prove that the 'big' translates into BIG help; and proceeded to exceed our expectations! What happened in the next 7 hours was fast and even a little fun! Herb packed the 26foot truck like the nimble professional that he is, while John and Derrick pulled all the heavy items and boxes out of every nook and cranny in this house! Even though we all took a lunch break (hubby and I happily supplied great sub sandwiches, and lots of water and a Gatorade or two) not a moment felt wasted! These three gentlemen were a blur of activity! On arrival at the new place, they were super quick in unloading and wonderful in placing all the big pieces in the places hubby and I had determined they should go.
