Called a week or two in advance and booked an appointment (which required a $75 deposit online). Two movers showed up on time. They walked through the house initially to get an idea of the layout. I pointed out that I had brand new wood floors and painted walls that they'd need to be careful about. Despite narrow halls and small doorways, the movers got all of my furniture inside without any damage to the house! This included bringing a couch in the front door, realizing it wouldn't fit into the room I wanted, then turning around and taking it all the way around to the back of the house for storage in the basement. Movers were very courteous and easy to work with. Only negative I had with the movers was some minor disagreement about how long they were there. After each half hour they charge up to the next hour. I thought the movers had been there less than 2.5 hours, but they said they were there 2 hours and 35 minutes and therefore charged me for three hours. I double-checked the time they had arrived (I had been on my cell phone when they got there and knew exactly what time I ended the call) and it was actually 10 minutes after they said they arrived. I don't really care that I paid extra since they did such a great job with the moving, but just a heads up to make sure you agree on a start time at the beginning!
