Loaded and organized a 3 bedroom house onto a U-Haul and then unloaded and sorted items at the destination. Also swept the U-Haul and folded the furniture pads as they went along. First of all, I messaged about 20 movers from Angie's List and only two responded: one company that quoted $2200 for our situation (3 bedroom house, 2 occupants, no large furniture like pianos or sectional couches, etc) and Big Guy for Hire. Their website is awesome because they are completely transparent about services and rates. Big Guy For Hire sent 3 movers as requested: Ali, Derek and Frank. We requested 8 AM but they called to let us know where they were and what time they would be at the house. They were polite, friendly, and hard working. They loaded up our 3 bedroom house onto our 26' U-Haul and organized it perfectly to ride safely in about 2 hours and then followed us approximately 50 miles to our new home and proceeded to unload the truck AND organize items by room as requested which also took about 2 hours. Ali, Derek, and Frank were INCREDIBLY polite, especially to my mother-in-law and wife. I was actually at work during the loading process and came home just in time to drive the truck up to our new house. Although I hope to not move again anytime soon, I will use Big Guy for Hire again. I have previously used Two Men and a Truck, BOS moving, etc. and they were not nearly as efficient (or cheap) as Big Guy for Hire. I cannot recommend Big Guy for Hire enough. If you like to pack and organize your own things, you will have a fast and relaxing move!
