I had a very large and heavy armoire that needed to be moved from my garage to my bedroom on the second floor. I was concerned about the move because we just put in new oak floors and steps and I did not want them damaged. Also, the large size of the armoire would make it very difficult to get it through the bedroom doorway (maybe an inch or less clearance in width and height). After finding Big Guy on Angies List and reading through their very good reviews, I called John at Big Guys and John assured me that they could handle the move. I scheduled it for the next morning at 9 am. Derek and Derek (seriously) showed up the next day. They were late but called to let me know they were going to be late so I was OK with that. I showed them where the armoire was and the new oak floors and steps and, again, expressed my concern about not damaging the floors. They also assured me they could move the piece without any damage.It certainly was not easy but Derek and Derek moved the piece by carrying it (instead of using a dolly), and there was absolutely no damage to my floors, steps, or walls. They put pads on the steps and handrails to protect them. Derek and Derek were extremely nice and very professional. I am sure I could have found a cheaper price but I was more concerned about protecting my place from damage so I felt the price was very fair for what they did.
