We hired Big Guy For Hire to help us move all of our furniture and belongings from our 4 bedroom house in Ann Arbor to 4 bedroom house in Howell and drive the Uhaul truck. They did such a fantastic job! I would definitely hire them again and will be recommending to friends/family. They were very professional, organized, courteous, VERY careful with all of our stuff (nothing was broken or scratched), they packed the truck amazingly well (I'm sure they are experts at playing Tetris LOL), and they worked fast and efficiently. Their prices are very reasonable and the original quote was higher than the actual so that was a nice bonus. Overall the entire moving process was efficient and very professional. They drove the UHaul truck to our home and proceeded to go in each room to see what the big furniture items were and then they started loading up. We have a 4 bedroom home so a lot of stuff needed to be moved! The owner John had suggested we could save money by having helpers there to assist with loading/unloading since the pay is per hour. We got a team of volunteer friends/family and it went very quickly. Within a couple of hours we got the 26 foot UHaul loaded jam packed ceiling to floor, random delicate items in multiple cars and vans, and a truck and trailer loaded with more items. Then we made the 45 minute drive to our new home and unloaded. We offered lunch to everyone afterwards and we were glad they were able to stay and eat because it was very hot outside and everyone needed a break. Then they left with the UHaul and drove it back.
