Fast and efficient

Incredible!
We hired them to move our 3 bedroom, and I rented a truck that was clearly too small. However the guys from Big Guy for Hire were able to fit everything into two truckloads in a 10 ft truck! This included a 55 big screen, and TONS of furniture! Not only are they extremely good at puzzling your truck together, they are strong and they had the whole truck packed up in about 30 minutes! When we arrived at our new house nothing was broken, dented or scratched. I will recommend them to anyone that I know is going to move in the future.

Don't hesitate to hire these Big Guys
I hired John and Derek to meet me at a storage facility to unload my 24-foot rental truck. I was driving to the Detroit area from Cleveland and I didnt get in until 4:30 in the morning. As much as I wouldve wished otherwise, they were right on time to meet me at 10:30 a.m.! They unloaded my truck extremely quickly and were also happy to help me unhook my car from the tow dolly since the tie-downs were stuck tight. Three months later, I called them again to remove my belongings from storage and transfer them to my new home. John and Derek are great guys to work with. They do their jobs efficiently (unlike others Ive hired in the past) and their service is worth much more than they charge because of the hassles they saved me if I had to move my belongings myself.

These guys are good!
I called Big Guy For Hire recently to help me with an in town move in Ann Arbor. Great Job
I recenetly hired John to help me move from a house to a condo and he did an excellent job. He showed up on time and got right to work. I was a bit unorganized when he arrived, but that did not make a difference. John just asked what needed to be moved and made quick work out of it. All of my belongings were loaded with care, quickly and efficiently and everything got moved to the condo in 2 1/2 hours without incident. I would reccomend Big Guy for Hire to anyone who needs help moving.

Condo to House Move
We called Big Guy for Hire to move us from a condo to a house in Ann Arbor. John and his crew were on time and did a great job of loading a 2-bed condo with many books and heavy furniture and then unloading on the other side of town. The move was done even faster than they estimated and nothing was broken or damaged. This was the third time we have used their services and would highly recommend them to anyone. This was the 2nd time that Big-guy John and his partner help me to move. And this time is tougher than the last one. I have 2 bedroom stuff with 50 boxes. Most boxes filled with useless books papers. So they are heavy. John showed up on time. We moved from Novi to A2 from a 2nd floor 2 bedroom apartment to another 2nd floor 3 bedroom apartment. Great Work

Great work!
These guys were absolutely fantastic! We recently made the move up from Chicago with a full 14 ft. Uhaul truck. Due to moving problems on the way out of Chicago we ended up arriving in Ann Arbor 2.5 hours after we said we would. These guys were nice enough to wait around for us and when we did arrive they were quick to unload the truck and friendly while doing so. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Great service, very punctual on two occasions
Bigguyforhire helped me move twice on short notice. On both occasions, they not only helped me move everything in a very time-efficient manner, they were also quite careful to make sure nothing suffered as much as a scratch. The second time, John helped me take apart large pieces of furniture and used his own car to help move a couple of larger objects and showed up with rope so I could tie my mattress to the roof of my car. Excellent service and I would recommend it to anyone in the area for any job. I have gone to them multiple times and will continue to do so.

I was kind of worried of choosing movers from Craigslist but these guys are very very reliable , flexible and courteous. One has to pay 1/2 the amount before hand (Paypal is secure- one need not be worried about paying online from their site) and pay the balance after moving is completed. I called John two days before I needed help unloading a moving truck - he was very gracious over the phone and was thankfully able to help out.
